V/A - GARANTERAT MOB 47 CD-R
Released January 2003, 200 copies, app. 45 minutes.
(Originally released on tape August 2001, 200 copies)
Finally! It's out! After almost 2 years of silence from A.L.P. Tapes a new tape sees the light of day. I hope this bring hope back to those who doubted there ever would be another ALP release.
When I started to compile bands for this tape I thought it would go really fast but surprisingly enough it didn't. I got hold of some bands in the beginning and everything looked fine but then it all slowed down (including me) so it took a hell lot longer time than expected. But now it's here so let's forget about the past.
As you already should know this is a tribute to one of the all time best Swedish bands: MOB 47. They were the first hardcore band I listened to and they really made my music interest change. I'm not saying it's all because of Mob but if I hadn't heard them I might not have been where I am today. So when Åke contacted me about wanting to join in on the tape with a faster version of Dom Ljuger I was ofcourse thrilled. And when we agreed on putting even more songs on it I got really excited. And I guess I'm not the only one 'cause this tape proves that Mob 47 is a big inspiration to bands ranging from rehearsal to ones more "established" in the scene.
Side A is packed with bands who does their favourite Mob 47 songs and on the B side you find Mob themselves! So this is really something for all of you out there who loves the band.
The bands on the comp. are: Hålk, Väpnad Konflikt, The Spitz, Crossing Chaos, Spreckförlossning, Hellshit, Warmachine, Kurbits I.R. (all Swedish), Akkolyte and Scorned (both U$A).
The Mob 47 songs on this tape are Dom Ljuger from 85 with Robban on vocals and the last rehearsal ever recorded late 86 with Tommy on vocals.

Cripple Bastards / Mass Separation - Audioterror Deluxe split CD-R
Released November 2002 (on tape and CD-R), 150 copies, app. 22 minutes.
(Originally released on tape May 1999, 100 copies)
Ahh, finally it came. A tape that doesn't really follow the lines of the earlier ALP releases on account of the much more raw music that's being played. But there's nothing wrong with that is there? Personally I'm very happy that I got this opportunity to release two so great bands.
Cripple Bastards from Italy (whom we all are familiar with), gives you 12 live tracks from 1996 and I promise that there isn't a quiet moment after that they've fired their canon loaded with a rawpunk/hardcore/noise/grind mix. Fucking intense the way only CB can be! Tracks 1-7 can also be found on the "Massacrecore" live 7" released in 1997.
Mass Separation, Malaysia, are a little bit more chocking since they lean more towards noise. They walk that thin line between controlled madness and noiseblasts and they do it good! They manages to get my attention in a way few bands like this do. Full throttle + a little bit more all 10 songs. Add good and aware political lyrics to that and you'll get a fucking great kick. A very sincere band I hope to co-operate with more in the future.
Due to high demand this tape is now back in stock with all new layout and on a tape which length fits better with the bands' material. Also available on CD-R at the same price.
CB: Prospettive Limitate, Sexist Society... Must Destroy It!, Mass Media (Indigesti), Polizia, Una Razza Da Estinguere, 1974, Authority?, Asti Punx, Images Of War/images Of Pain, September 18th, 1993, Spero Venga La Guerra (Wretched), Italia Di Merda, Stimmung
MS: Classed, Boycott, Controlled State, Countless, Industrial Hell, Wall Crumble May 13, Dead End 2020, Noise! (Wardog Remix), Big Mac Terrorizer (live), Rot (live)

Straight Edge Kegger / Uncle Charles - Anger Burning Within... split tape
Released November 2002, 150 copies, app. 25 minutes.
The split tape of the year!
Straight Edge Kegger, with members of Hate Mail Killerz and more..., from the states deliver 6 fast hardcore tunes with thought put into them. Rehearsal recording often equals bad quality but not this time! A rough edge make it sound just the way hardcorepunk tunes should. Female vocals. All new tracks.
Uncle Charles, with members of Human Waste, from Sweden walk right over you with their 9 tracks of crusty hardcore. A reseblence not too far fetched is Svart Parad. Even late Cimex and early Snifter comes to mind. Still, don't be fooled, they're not just another copycat band. They're simply great. Fe/male vocals.
These tracks are taken from the now sold out mini CD (100 made) "Another day, another dollar".
The tape comes on a black C-30 with either red, blue or white covers in Europe and yellow, blue or white covers in the States. There's also a A4 (fullsize) lyricsheet.
SEK: Jesus vs. Nazi Germany, If You Were Really There - You Would Know..., Zeppelin, G N'R or Some DC?, If Punks Grew On Trees - You'd Be Ripe For the Picking, Chasing People On Bikes Who Aren't Really There, The Meaning of Life Was Told In A HC Thrash song..., Outro
UC: Utfryst Av Systemet, Allt Handlar Om Pengar, Rebuilding My Life, Höj Era Röster - Höj Era Nävar, A Cold Grey World, Defiance, Doomsday, Döva Öron, Ett Anständigt Liv

V/A - ATTACK! #5 Thou Shalt Not Kill tape
Released March 2002, 200 copies, app. 60 minutes.
After years in production it's done, the 5th ATTACK! tape is here! Another chapter in the history books.
Even though every (real) punkband is political I dare to call this the first political comp.tape on A.L.P. Why? Well this is a Food Not Bombs Stockholm benefit tape and every penny of the small profits will go to them to help in their struggle for the homeless. I know it might not be a big amount but it's better than nothing.
Almost every song is about animal liberation except a few but the bands still support it even if they don't have songs about it. So it's atleast the first one with a political theme.
The tape comes with a A5 sized booklet with info on the FNB, vegetarinism/veganism, the bands and their lyrics. All mixed with pics and a neat layout. This is the first "pro" made tape on ALP. And the last ever on ALP, but you already know about that.
Bands on the tape are: Kafka (It), Beyond Description (Jap), Kakistocracy (us), System Disarmed (us), Moral Hazard (us), Snifter (Swe), Insurrection (Singapore), Unkind (Fin), Whorehouse of Representatives (us), Dahmer (Can), Scumbrigade (Swe), Disenchanted (us), Token Tantrum (Swe), P.C.P. (NL), Opposition (Swe), Extinguish (Swe) and Kontrovers (Swe).
And it's available in something as cool as a limited edition:
50 copies in a handnumbered box including the tape and the booklet + some other nice stuff. Higher price on this limited edition crap = more money do FNB, duh!
The rest will come in plastic bags to keep the tape and the booklet together for as many as I manage to gather bags to.
Limited Edition Box Set is now SOLD OUT
Note: It says October '01 as release date on the cover, this was something I forgot to correct and didn't realize until after the covers were done. Not a big deal but still a small error.

V/A - ATTACK! #4 Sweden Strikes Again... This Time With A Little Help tape
Released October 1999, 100 copies, app. 60 minutes.
So I broke my promise that was not to release any more ATTACK! tapes. I decided that it was more fun to continue releasing ATTACK! tapes since that's how it all started a couple of years back. To me it feels like A.L.P. Tapes is somewhat synonumous with the ATTACK! series. How many tapes there will be is hard to tell but those who live will see.
From the beginning the tape was called ATTACK! #4 Unite & Win, but after moving around some 'til there was no foreign bands left, except one, I renamed it to "Sweden strikes again... this time with a little help" refering to that Iäm getting back to an all Swedish ATTACK! tape with the one exeption. I let the american band Förstörelse join in 'cause of the Swedish band name and the fact that they also (try?) so sing in Swedish. It was at first supposed to be a split tape with a friend but he couldn't go through with it 'cause of money problems unfortuanately. Hopefully another project with him will come in the future.
I've for long had problems with getting someone to draw a fist for me. I'd put two people on the job but none of them made one, so when I began to close in on the deadline for the tape I had to steal a picture. The fist is stolen from a UNIT 11:74 7" but I've removed everything but the fist so it's ok I think. I wanted to have exclusive covers for each tape since I find that more fun but what the hell, it doesn't show to much that it's ripped anyway.
Well well, enough said, make sure you get the tape right away so you can enjoy great tracks with: 666-Pack, H.A.T.E, Disculpa, Article Nine, Loud Pipes, D.S.-13, Rejected, Epileptic Terror Attack, Rajoitus, Förstörelse (USA), Burning Kitchen, Meanwhile, Totalitär & Deny. This is actually one of my own personal fave ALP comps still today.

V/A - O SHIT, HERE GOES THE PLANET! tape
Released August 1999, 100 copies, app. 60 minutes.
The first international comp. on A.L.P. Tapes. All 12 participating bands are from different countries:
Confüsion (Japan), Amatol (Australia), Popper Klopper (Germany), Psycho '78 (Indonesia), Groinchurn (South Africa), Autonomia (Peru), Victimised (Norway), Cripple Bastards (Italy), Resent (U$A), Parkinson (Malaysia), Mukeka Di Rato (Brazil) and last but not least, my own noiseband Jennys Kocki (Sweden).
What I'm most satisfied over is that I managed to get a band fro Norway to enter the comp. since it seems there's not many bands coming from there now a days. Atleast I haven't heard of many. Ofcourse I'm very satisfied with the whole tape and it's starting to feel like I'm getting somewhere (it has felt like that since the first tape, but now it's starting for real I think). It was actually easier to do this than I first thought. I was open to letting more than one band from a country join in if things were to become stagnant but it all ran along very well so it turned out exactly the way I wanted it to do.
There will probably be a follow up to this tape also, but how that one will look like I have no idea yet. Maybe bands from totally new countries or some same as on this one. Time will show.
What I do know is that every band that feels that they would fit on any of my comps should get in touch. I also want alot of people who can draw to get in touch. I'm always looking for you.

V/A - ATTACK! #3 Sverige vs. Suomi tape
Released June 1999, 100 copies, app. 60 minutes.
The third tape in the ATTACK! series has now been released after a long search for someone to do the coverart. This is the last ATTACK! tape and it's a very nice way to complete a very (atleast according to me) successful series. Why I did a Swedish/Finnish split tape is that very often the Swedish and Finnish 80's hardcore scenes are mentioned as influences for lots of bands so I wanted to show the world that we still deliver great harcore. And I want to believe me and the bands did a good job.
A/Swedish side: Revolt, Warmachine, Bajsbojs, Riskavfall, Specialpatrullen, BESK, Total Assbreakers & Disregard.
B/Finnish side: Kansandemokratia, Kirous, Shiro, Diana 5, Die Zlaskhinx, Epäjärjestys & Cause for Effect.

Resent - s/t tape
Released 1998, 100 copies, app. 20 minutes.
This is another one of those already released ones (see System Disarmed). This was from the beginning released as a CDr by the band themselves but released by A.L.P Tapes, with permission from the band, to keep the price low and to hopefully reach out to more people than they would've from the states. 7 tracks of rawpunkrock with intelligent lyrics who deals with, for example, the injustices in the world and what we're doing to ourselves and the earth. Nothing new and exciting but very good. Perfect listening between the full throttle hardcore stuff if you wanna rest your head. Reminds me a bit of bands like Kakistocracy.
I know some people might not think this fits as a ALP release but fuck that. If you can't release whatever you want what's the deal with having a label? Do yourself a favour and go check out something other than those 100mph bands. Not that I don't like those but there's nothing negative about looking around a bit.
It's Not Too Late, Plague, Freedom Is A Lie, Bloody Progress, Does That Make You Man?, So-called Democracy, Unknown Citizen

Discontrol - 98-95 tape
Released 1998, 100 copies, app. 70 minutes.
From the beginning the Discontrol tape on ALP would've been a split with my band at that time. Why that didn't happen is because we quit before we recorded anything. So instead Discontrol thought that I could release this discography tape. I really liked their raw full on attack "neanderthal crust in a primitive way" to use their own words. It's not really unpredictable and that feels good when it comes to a band like this. You want it rough, hard and angry and that's exactly what you get all the way through. It's absolutely not boring repeating stuff at all it's just that it feels good to know what to expect when it comes to Discontrol.
What differ this tape from most disco tapes is that they start with their latest songs first and then work their way back to the very first recording.
The quality differs between rehersal, live and studio but the way the play still remains the same, total devestation d-beat råpunk!
61 tracks is too many for me to write down here.

System Disarm - Evolution demo tape
Released 1998, 100 copies, app. 20 minutes.
I got in contact with American System Disarmed about getting some songs for a comp.tape and when they sent the demo I had a hard time picking out songs to use so instead I made this "distibuted in Sweden by A.L.P. Tapes" release. Actually it's not really a ALP release and it doesn't have ALP 002,5 on it anywhere but I call it that anyway.
System Disarmed play hardcore in the vein of 80's Swedish bands and they do it really good with intelligent lyrics and great music. I really love this demo it's just too bad the sound isn't the best. I was promised a copy with better sound but I never got it so I kept selling these with not that great sound 'cause I feel I really wanna get the music out to you. Even if the sound quality lacks here and there it's a great tape and all you have to do is to raise the volume a bit and good music should be played loud anyway!

V/A - ATTACK! #2 tape
Released 1998, 150 copies, app. 90 minutes.
Just as with ATTACK! #1 this tape is packed with a hardcore/punk/noise mixture. The only thing that varies is of course the bands and the length of the tape. This time it's 90 minutes long. A length I gave up right after doing this 'cause I felt that I rather release more 60 minute tapes then less 90 minute ones. It's easier to keep it fairly up to date that way.
The bands this time are:
Latrin, Discontrol, Korruption, Crossing Chaos, Samhällets Virus, Rudimentär, Hellshit, Mörder, Kontrovers, Antipati, Spreckförlossning, Operation, Rakitis, Affray, Despite, Antabus, Cumbrage, Sista Civilisationens Död and Svarta Spyor.

Released 1998, 150 copies, app. 60 minutes.
The very first A.L.P. Tapes release! Guess if I was satisfied when I got this one out there. It took quite some time to compile all the bands and to get the cover done and all that but not that long considering it was my first tape.
The cover folds out into a A4 sized info sheet where every band has their own little space with songtitles, contact adresses, pics and other stuff that could be useful on a comp.tape.
Contains the bands:
Collective Punishment, Glutation Attakkk (has nothing to do with the bullshit clan!), Mindblaster, Greed, Barflies, Bracca 3, Pöbeln, Avskum and Snifter who together kicks the ass off just about everything!
