DEAD 009
SOLD OUT
Massmord - Unleashed LP
Released July 2007, 1000 black vinyl, 33rpm

When I think back on the fact that I almost didn't get involved with the release of the debut LP from Massmord it gives me a headache still, even though I actually did get the money together and could get onboard. But to come so close to miss out on one of the best bands currently operating in Sweden is not something I want to experience again. Therefore the choice to put the Blindead logo on this new LP wasn't a hard one, how could I do anything but?

Massmord has on this second LP really found their own sound and the twelve tracks on here show a band that know what they want and know how to get it done. While still drawing inspiration from others as bands tend to do, they keep it at inspiration and steer clear of copying.
Convincing delivery of fe/male vocals, dual charging guitars, thundering bass lines, hard urgent drumming - when put together this is as powerful as it gets.

If you are under the impression that these lines are written only to move units you are of course right in a sense, but I urge you to download the tracks found in the Media section to see that there's not one word of exaggeration used. Massmord do play aggressive high-quality Swedish crustcore with a good balance of sharp melodies and extreme heaviness.

This is a co-release between Blindead Productions, Nakkeskudd Plater, Contraszt! Records, and Halvfabrikat Records.

Side A: Cries of Wolf, För alla dom som knyter näven, Fasad, Your time to pay, Driven to submission, Svikna löften
Side B: Ett frö av ondska, Under the whip, Strypkoppel, Shadows over humanity, Led astray, I en värld utan framtid

Massgrav - Stampa Takten Alla Bokstavsbarn 7"
Released December 2006, 200 black vinyl, 33rpm

Ever since their first 7" "Hatfylld och Nerpissad" I've loved this band and their extremely aggressive hardcore and when an opprtunity to release a 7" by them presented itself it wasn't very hard to make a decision. This 7" is, by the wish of the band, limited to only 200 copies and this is the only vinyl all these eight tracks will appear on.

Massgrav take the best of what bands like Protes Bengt, Mob 47, and Krigshot are/were doing and add their own touch to it all and the final result is fucking aggressive råpunk!

Personkrets 3:1 - The Glorious Dead LP
Released November 2006, 1000 black vinyl, 33rpm

I got in on this release fairly late in the process, but early enough to feel fully involved. At first I said no to co-release it due to financial reasons but as soon as I heard the tracks I had to reconsider my choice - this was too damn good to pass up.

Personkrets 3:1 does on this LP follow up the great "Life is Beautiful" 10" with 10 tracks of a raging mix of crustcore and classic Swedish råpunk. They do on this LP show that they can go from attacking furious tracks to longer moodier tunes, and balancing a lot of their material in between those two styles.
9 new tracks and a re-recorded version of "Sjuka Jävlar" from their split 7" with Human Waste.

This is a co-release between Blindead Productions, Halvfabrikat Records, Fight Records, and Fight For Your Mind.

Side A: Döden, The glorious dead, See and believe, Warcrimes, Cattle
Side B: Where is your god now?, The cancer has spread, What is it all worth?, Victims of war, Sjuka jävlar (igen)

Massmord - Inget Liv/Ingen Död LP
Released January 2006, 1000 black vinyl, 33rpm

11 tracks of downtuned and dark Swedish hardcore with lots of piercing guitar leads, brutal bass lines, whirlwind drumming, and dual fe/male trade-off vocals. And even though this might fall under the category of modern melodic crust it's overall much faster than the average bands playing similar styles.

Massmord also share/have shared members with Deunga, Article Nine, Beyond Pink and Våning 5 to name a few, and they've brought their earlier experiences into this band creating a varied and thought through debut. Think Wolfbrigade and To What End? mixed with some From Ashes Rise and Kylesa.

This is a collaboration between Blindead Productions, Nakkeskudd Plater, Halvfabrikat Records, and Fight Records.

Side A: Wasted lives, Inget val, En kärleksförklaring, Same old story, same old shit, Nackskott
Side B: Slaktplats Sverige, Ena foten i graven, Ett liv taget för givet, It's true, it's true, Din äckliga snutjävel, Koloni

V/A - We Come in Peace 7" (More World, Less Bank! pt.2)
Released November 2004, 1000 black vinyl, 33rpm

Little over a year ago Blindead Productions and Halvfabrikat Records released a compilation 7" called "More World, Less Bank!". We were so satisfied with the final result and it didn't take long until we started to work on the follow up - this one. We are all very aware of the fact that compilations might not be the hottest thing within the punkscene, but that's a fact we want to turn around - and we have very good material to do so.

Just as last time the line-up includes eight bands all contributing with unreleased stuff: Protestera, Anatomi-71, Apologia, Personkrets 3:1, Diskonto, 365 Dagar Av Synd (Dödsdömd under a new name) from Sweden, Kuolema and Ensam from Finland.

Side A: PROTESTERA - Punklåten, ANATOMI-71 - Arbetsförnedringen, KUOLEMA - Nyt Otetaan, APOLOGIA - Never Enough
Side B: PERSONKRETS 3:1 - Vansinne, ENSAM - Trocas, DISKONTO - Anti-Cimex, 365 DAGAR AV SYND - Vakna För Fan!

Sick Terror - Ajaxfree Re-masters/Re-monsters 7"
Released April 2004, 500 black vinyl, 33rpm

Take the intensity of Sick Terror, and mix it all up with the insanity of the Ajaxfree noisemachine and you'll get a record that will splatter your brains all over the wall. Brazilian thrashmusick jam-packed with samples and distorted "sounds". Play loud! ...if you dare.
The material on this are the most intense stuff so far from this band, continuing on the same path as the split 7" w/World Burns to Death. Hyperthrash!

Side A: Máquina Inútil, Guerra dos Moinhos, Cidadão Preso, Caminhos sem Esperanca, O Muro
Side B: Eu sou um Perdedor, Lâminas Para o Natal, Morda a Língua, Lair Ribeiro Is Watching You

Crossing Chaos - Disgusting Reality 7"
Released November 2003, 500 black vinyl, 45rpm

It's been delayed, then delayed again and again... But finally, when the financial situation here at Blindead HQ allowed it, it came. And it was worth the wait! 6 80's Swedish style råpunk ragers, done by Swedes (for a change). Take the greatness of bands such as Disarm, Anti-Cimex, Moderat Likvidation and mix it up with later Swedish (Skitsystem) and American (State of Fear) raw hardcore and you'll get the point. Pissed off and short to-the-point lyrics all backed up with fast beats, fierce guitars and dual screamed vocals. It can't go wrong.

One of the more active bands in Sweden when it comes to recording, but not releasing unfortunatley, so don't miss out on this. I even dare to call it a future classic.

Side This: Liars, Hiroshima (Moderat Likvidation), Riot
Side That: Enemy of the State, Disgusting Reality, Tired of Bullshit

V/A - More World, Less Bank 7"
Released July 2003, 1000 black vinyl, 33rpm

The one and only compilation you need to own!
What started out as a comp.CD has now changed and been released as as 7". It was after some time trying to get hold of bands, that could contribute with exclusive stuff to fill a whole CD, that me and Danne of Halvfabrikat Records decided that something had to change. We realized that getting a CD together would probably take forever and end up not being released at all. So, after some talk between us we decided upon the very nice vinyl 7" format. And we will never regret out decision!

We all know that comps often can be like 4 good bands and 10 bad ones, but not this baby! If you don't believe me, take a look at the line-up: Crossing Chaos, Cluster Bomb Unit, Uncle Charles, Murder Disco X, Human Waste, Coma, Lim and Skitsystem. 8 bands, 8 tracks - and all exclusive stuff, it's a definite winner!

Side A: CROSSING CHAOS - Tooth by Tooth, CLUSTER BOMB UNIT - Power, UNCLE CHARLES - Passiviserade Slavar, MURDER DISCO X - Pro Life
Side B: HUMAN WASTE - Mitt Liv = Ett Rent Helvete, COMA - Total Förödelse, LIM - Gasad, SKITSYSTEM - Materialisterna

Crossing Chaos - From the Nearest Liqour Store in Hell 7"
Released January 2000, 500 black vinyl, 45rpm

The first release on RTS as well as the debut from the band. 6 tracks of Swedish råpunk ála Sweden 80-something. Strongly influenced by bands like Anti Cimex, Moderat Likvidation, Mob 47 and such. Great stuff! I really like this record 'cause there seems to be getting less and less bands playing this kind of music so to get to help to keep it alive feels very good.

It took a very long time to get this one released but I new all along that it was worth the wait. And that proved to be true since a unknown label and a fairly unknown band managed to get rid of 500 copies in 5 months and that's a good grade according to me.

Side Chaos: Preach of Lies, Empty the Barrel, Secret Lists
Side Resist: Police Fucks, Fuck Nazi, Fight Back

Blindead Productions has also released a number of CD-Rs and tapes, all of which are either deleted or sold out now. For a complete list, go here.
